This original painting is a great ode to the energy of spring’s awakening encouraging the arrival of brighter days filled with light and the courage to bloom again.

I recall the etheric feeling in nature this early spring afternoon. The light and warmth coming through the tall pines trees and the sounds of the whispering winds with lake view from my home studio. While painting in NYC, these moments came through me without thinking about it here in this piece. “The colors, they are inside you”, Francine told me. She is right. This piece specifically reminds me the most of Francine and her newest experimental and internationally acclaimed works. Her latest “Open Painting” series
